Was told that the roofers would contact us the following week, but after chasing them down, finally got a communication 3 weeks later.
They said they were swamped, due to hurricane damage, and that's why they were charging so much. What's the definition of "price gouging"?
Today I repaired my ridge and put roof adhesive under all of the ridge tabs that were not glued.
So I spent 1/2 the day yesterday, trying to find matching ridge shingles.
Approximately 1.5 - 2 months ago I called and spoke with Pam (I'm pretty sure that was her name, anyway) and explained that I was wanting a fairly extensive whole-house renovation on my home. We talked about it quite a bit and she said that either Kevin or Kyle would call me back with 24 to 48 hours to schedule an appointment. No call. I called back a week later and spoke with Pam again. She apologized, said they were really busy because of the Hurricane and, once again, said Kevin or Kyle would call me back. Still no call... Here's the thing - Ryman Construction is in Dade City... I live in Dade City... the extent of most of the storm damage in this area was downed trees. Maybe there's some folks with home damage around here, but was there SO MUCH other work that they can't even call me back to set an appointment? Either that, or they're going into other areas in Florida for work... regardless, poor customer service. Too bad - I'd always heard they were a good company who did good work... but I'll never call back again, nor will I recommend to others.
Later, in November, I was on the roof to install Christmas lights and noticed a 6' section of ridge shingles missing. The roof was less than 7 month old.
Even though we were within 1 year of the repair work that had been done, Ryman roofing would not fix "Act of God" damage.
Went through Lowe's to contract a roofing company.
Was told the roof would withstand winds up to 145 mph.
At 64 years old, it was no fun spending time fixing a relatively new roof.

Horrendous response. Had my inspection done almost 2 weeks ago and still waiting for estimate that was told would be ready in 2 hrs. Called the estimator and he promised to call back and still days later no luck. Horrible way to do business
I was told by the Lowe's sales person that we would be getting a plastic vent on top, but we got ridge shingles.
We went through Lowes (that hired Ryman) for our gutters that were put up in August, they look great. We called a couple days later and said the only thing we needed was a 90 degree extension put on the downspout that is in front of our garage. Because of the direction of the spout, the water comes into our garage every time it rains. We were told by Lowes that Ryman has 2 days to contact us, we never heard from them, We called Lowes and the girl said that she knows about it and she has been calling them herself with no response. It will be 2 weeks tomorrow that we initially put in the work order request. We would like for SOMEONE to contact us regarding this issue and hopefully get the part put on before the hurricane hits so that our garage doesn't get flooded. I don't want to get the BBB involved, but I will if I have to.
