Tonight was the first time at the Chowder House. We had great service and great food. Thank you Sarah Jo for the awesome service you provided us. Food was fresh and we will be back for sure. Best shrimp and crab legs ever. Good times and great food. Thumbs up to the waitress and food. Huge shrimp too.
My wife and I had the lobster rolls which comes with fries and slaw. Where I come from this would be considered a lobster salad and the fries were over salted.... The server was pleasant and efficient. If you go here try something else but only get the lobster roll if you want lobster salad.......
Party of 4 and we all loved it.
based on Cod fish and chips it should be 2 stars, but good service and good chowder brought the score up to 3 stars. The Cod fish breading was more suitable as pan fried, not deep fried fish. The fries seemed as reheated left overs from lunch, or the day before, also seeming like frozen. the Cole slaw was good and so was the three potato salad. Clam chowder was very thick almost paste like, somewhat unusual. on the pricey side. not likely to go back anytime soon.
Service was excellent. I believe we had Matt as our server.

My husband and I enjoyed a five course Thanksging Dinner. Excellent. Food was well prepared and very tasty. Our wait staff person, Bre, was exceptional. Great customer service, it was apparent that she was comfortable in her role......and today was just her second day working the Chowder House. Well done. We enjoyed it very much.
Being from a Coastal New England town where we get fresh seafood right off the boats, this place was pretty good.
